For a while now, we’ve kept this exciting news under wraps, but it is finally time to share it — Trinity Church in Bath is officially our newest coworking space. We’re thrilled to open our first space outside Bristol and bring new life and purpose to this beautiful building.
Bristol and Bath play such a huge part in the South West creative scene with both cities acting as hubs for talented individuals and industries. Bath, in particular, has a growing community of creative professionals, so it feels like the right time to bring our people-first, community-driven coworking space to the historic city. Trinity Church is a shared workspace where creatives can connect, thrive and do their best work.
After seeing the community blossom at our inaugural space, Cigar Factory, and hearing the inspiring stories of our members’ successes, we knew we wanted to expand Gather Round to regional cities and towns. Our goal is to unite and support vibrant creative communities, fostering collaboration and connection.
Trinity Church is a stunning example of Victorian-era, French Gothic architecture which has been a community hub and gathering place for the Bath community for over 150 years. After closing down in 2011, the building has been at risk of falling into disrepair so it has been a pleasure to breathe new life and energy into Trinity Church and turn it into a coworking space for the Bath creative community.
As with our other buildings – Brunswick Square and Cigar Factory, we’ve celebrated the architecture, retaining all original features and retaining the soul of the building. Stained glass, an original timber roof and large windows which flood the space with light have all been respectfully restored and bring character and warmth to the space. It is open and airy with thoughtful interiors designed to inspire.
With room for 120+ members, the space offers a variety of work settings to cater to every need, from flexible and fixed desks to private studios and meeting rooms. Casual, breakout spaces for collaborative chats, phone booths for privacy and plenty of space for deep thinking. The communal dining area is a natural hub for shared lunches and members’ events. The venue includes a versatile event space available to members and the public, suitable for workshops, presentations, and gatherings that spark creativity and connection.
We can’t wait to welcome fellow creatives to Trinity Church, from designers, photographers and illustrators, to writers, artists and podcasters, we are a home for all people working within a creative sphere. We’ll be sharing some ‘early sign up’ offers soon, so keep your eyes peeled.
As we gear up for the grand opening in Autumn ’24, we’re thrilled to invite the Bath creative community to join us at Trinity Church for a launch party.
