As we gear up for the opening of our new Bath coworking space, construction is well underway at the Trinity Church. We’re super excited to gather a community of creatives in the middle of this beautiful city!
To warm up, we’ve put together a list of Bath creatives that are hot on our radar. From award-winning writers to dedicated bakers, wallpaper designers to illustrators, this lineup features some serious creatives doing amazing things.

If you’re into bold design look no further than the dynamic duo behind Divine Savages, Jamie Watkins and Tom Kennedy. The husband duo celebrate the brave in all their choices and design standout wallpapers, furnishings and interiors. Visit their new showroom on Margarets Buildings to explore their latest creations.
Katie’s work focuses on mapping place in paint. Big colours, form and views inform her abstract, bold work. Finding inspiration in the land and changing seasons Katie paints and collages bold, bright and stunning pieces to get lost in.
All hail Max Porter, Bath’s literary star. With four award-winning, bestselling books under his belt, a film collaboration with Cillian Murphy and more creative projects you can shake a feather at, Porter shines. His unique storytelling style and innovative narrative techniques pushes the boundaries of contemporary literature.
Jessica sees the world in vibrant colour, capturing the playful essence of everyday objects and turning up the bold and bright in everything she creates. From prints and ceramics to stationery and workshops, Jessica is a creative powerhouse who loves to share her passion with the world.
At the helm of the glorious Landrace bakery and restaurant is Andrew Lowkes. Self-professed grain nut, he takes the provenance of his flour very seriously and it shows. Next-level bakes sit alongside tremendous breads right next to dreamy pastries. An award-winning restaurant is upstairs, he has opened his own flour mill – you get the picture. He knows his stuff.
Catherine’s practice blends painting, sculpture, performance and poetry with depth and originality. A 2013 MA graduate from the Royal College of Art, Catherine’s work is inspired by personal experience and literary influences.
Tom Maurice is the visionary behind leading strategic design agency Sunhouse Creative, known for its innovative and creative approach to brand strategy and design. Tom and his team are driven by a commitment to positivity. Proudly B Corp certified and members of 1% for the Planet, they practice what they preach and work with ethical organisations. With a focus on harnessing creative talent, Tom’s worked with some of the best.
John Harper is a street photographer whose work masterfully captures the subtle beauty of the everyday. Based near Bath, John’s portfolio spans a range of subjects, from striking architectural shots to intimate portraits, each image reflecting his keen eye for detail and composition. His ability to find captivating moments in the ordinary makes his photography, and their subjects, shine.
Victoria Topping is a visionary artist whose work seamlessly blends intricate illustration with a deep love for music and storytelling. Her portfolio spans across prints, wallpapers, clothing, and more with each piece reflecting her meticulous attention to detail and boundless creativity. With a knack for transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary, Victoria’s creations are a feast for the eyes and the imagination.
Born in Beijing and brought up in the UK, the brothers, Shane Carnell-Xu and Jake Xu have quite literally shaken up the cosmetics world! The concept for their business ‘Shake-up Cosmetics’ was dreamt up in Bath, their mission is to to be included in every man’s grooming and skincare routine, helping them look and feel 100% every day.
Jack Horner is the creative mind behind Nearfield Magazine, a cultural beacon in the Southwest. After working with some of the world’s biggest brands, Jack is now all about channeling creativity and collaboration to drive positive change for people and the planet. As a mentor, coach, and non-executive advisor, Jack teams up with forward-thinking organisations to craft nature-centered solutions and build vibrant, connected communities.
