Giants at Play took over both spaces for 7 weeks to produce a short stop-motion animation film, using Room One for filming and Room Two as a convenient workshop for constructing sets and props.
Last year, our Production Spaces hosted Bristol-based MotherBoard for an afternoon event as part of the Bristol Technology Festival. They gathered over lunchtime and welcomed 50 attendees. Set up comfortably for a panel discussion led by Founder Sophie Creese, explored allyship, Women in Tech, and the challenges of Female Reproductive Health in advancing gender equality.
We were honoured to host the Coding Black Females Careers Fair. The event was a huge success with influential guest speakers and many organisations attending promoting their vacancies to the captive audience. The CBF CEO Charlene Hunter MBE presented in the main event space and stalls were set up in the breakout spaces for the organisations recruiting talent.
Room One is currently the venue for a 12-week workshop, “The Artist’s Way,” led by Natasha Bergg, a member of Brunswick Sq. Each week, participants utilise the space for diverse creative tasks, enjoying the comfort and freedom to work and engage in discussions in a safe and comfortable space.
