Come and join the Gather Round team! We are looking for a Community Assistant, Part Time (3 days per week, Wednesday to Friday).

Gather Round now has two Bristol locations: Cigar Factory in Southville, and Brunswick Square in St Pauls.

 

About the role

This part-time position will be predominantly based at our Brunswick Square location in St Pauls.  Although ideally we’re looking for someone with the flexibility to work across both Gather Round locations when needed.

You’ll be responsible for helping to support and nurture our diverse, unique community. Working alongside our Community Managers, you’ll report directly to our Community and Operations Manager. Being a close-knit team, at times you will also report to the company’s two Directors.

You’ll be managing the day-to-day running of our Brunswick Square venue. Ensuring members are happy, have everything they need, and the space is running efficiently. The role is wide and varied. You’ll be tasked with a variety of responsibilities,  so we’re looking for someone proactive who can turn their hand to anything from housekeeping and front of house, to supporting event planning and social media marketing.

We’re looking for a fun, friendly, super-organised person, whose passion and drive supports our purpose and embodies our company values of trust, openness and inclusivity. You should be creative at heart, with a keen interest in the local creative community.

Essentials

It’s all about our members! Working as a Community Assistant at Gather Round means being attuned to members’ needs and delivering excellent customer service.

You’ll be highly motivated and have a strong work ethic. You’re not afraid to go above and beyond when required.

You’ll be used to working independently at times and you’ll be super organised, with the ability to prioritise and be adaptable. Multi-tasking should be a breeze for you.

You’ll have some experience working in the service industry.

You’re proactive and can work under your own steam.

You’re fired up about Gather Round and our mission; you are ready to live, eat and breathe it, spreading the love to everyone you encounter!
