We’re levelling up our events offering this year with our friends at Yuup. We’re sure you’ve heard of them by now? They curate a range of art, craft, wellness and all-round-good-for-mind-and-body activities and events for you to get stuck into alone or as a group. We love what they do so much, we’ve partnered with them to bring some of their most loved experiences in house as part of an upgrade package to our event spaces.

If you didn’t know – we have 5 hireable spaces across Bristol and Bath, with Brunswick Square at the centre of it all. 3 spaces across 2 floors, built for all of your creative needs. Our Cosy Meeting Room is more than a place to meet, it’s a comfortable space to shut out the world and let ideas fly. Take a seat on the sofa for a relaxed interview or spread out over some tables for your team meet up. Our modular space has everything you need.

Looking for something with a little more space? Our 900sqft Production Space has the flexibility to be whatever you need. Photography studio? We’ve got you. Starting up a new yoga class? This is the cosy spot you’ve been looking for. A blank canvas in a unique building, ready for you to do your thing and we’ll provide the space with some handy extras.

If you’re ready to go big and get your dream panel in for an evening of great conversation, our Event Space is ideal for getting together in larger numbers. If you’ve been to our Gather Round Presents events before, you’ll know it’s got the perfect vibe.

Creative ice breakers

Explore creative thinking through playful drawing exercises with freelance illustrator and creative facilitator – Jess Knights. No artistic skills required – this is time to simply explore and play! Based out of Jamaica Street Studios, Jess works with brands and organisations in the health, social and environmental sectors, creating illustrations and murals that connect people and ideas. Her work combines paints, pens, pastels, collage and design software to create her distinct, textural style.

Taste & create

Make sauerkraut with BURP! This is a fun, hands-on session exploring the art of fermentation – a great mix of science, creativity and conversation – and everyone leaves with their own jar of homemade kraut! Name a better way to break up the day?

With a mission to make fermented foods accessible and fun, BURP. are a Bristol based company inviting even the most hesitant cooks to explore the delightful world of fermentation. These guys know that listening to your gut is super important, making this the perfect activity for when you’ve got big decisions to make!

Make your own natural treatments

Create your own natural treatment masks or handmade soaps, guided by Hairy Jayne’s founder. A sensory, sustainable session that leaves everyone relaxed and uplifted. This is more than just a breakout session – leave with some serious life hacks that are better for your skin, your wallet and the planet. We think this would make a lovely session to round off a long day of thinking with!

We tailor these sessions to fit your teams schedule and energy, so, if there’s something in this list you love the look of but think needs tweaking to suit your crew, we’ve got you covered. Just let Hannah, our Events Manager, know when you book. These experiences are perfect for groups of all sizes too – whether there are 5 or 35 of you and can last anywhere from 20 to 120 minutes.
