What We Are Not

Bad design

It’s just not in us, trust. Check out our work at sister company Fiasco Design if you don’t believe us. We take creativity and craft very seriously, and it is clear in the award-worthy interiors of our spaces and the thought we have put into creating a beautiful, practical space perfect for creatives to flourish in.

Anonymous hotdesking

We’re all friends here! You’ll most likely find us huddled around a table at lunchtime, heading out to sample one of the many great eateries on Stokes Croft or North Street or chatting over an idea. Conversation and camaraderie are here when you need it, if you’re looking for a heads-down moment or a quiet meeting there are plenty of spaces for that too.

Cookie-cutter spaces

Instead of soulless office space, we know that one size most certainly does not fit all. Both of our spaces are inspired by the buildings they sit within. Cigar Factory nods to its industrial past with exposed brick and large windows whilst Brunswick Square pays homage to its creative roots in the city. There isn’t a blank wall, grey desk or water cooler in sight.

No gimmicks

There isn’t a beanbag or a phonebooth anywhere to be seen, we promise! Just authentic, honest design, beautiful spaces and good decisions. As creatives ourselves, we know what makes a good working space and we’ve built a space for creatives to do their best work.

What We Are

A supportive open culture

More than just a place to work. We’re a community of creatives that support one another. We collaborate, inform, share and celebrate together. Our monthly campfire talks see members share their knowledge and our online members’ area is a place to share tips, events and opportunities with one another. Our monthly breakfast and after-work drinks are an excellent chance to get to know each other a little better.

Proudly independent

This means we’re flexible (baby) and can move with the needs of our members. Need an event space to host monthly gatherings? Sorted. Prefer more low key lighting? We’ll get it done. We’re proud to be able to move with the requests of our members; we listen to feedback and adjust accordingly. Our members are at the heart of what we do and always will be.

A place for creatives to flourish

As design agency owners, Jason and Ben knew the kind of co-working space creatives needed to do their best work. You’ll find many options at Gather Round whether that’s a fixed desk, a private studio, a vibrant office space or a flexible desk membership with all the perks – whatever you need comes in beautiful, practical surroundings.

An investment in yourself

We’re not the cheapest coworking space in Bristol, but here at Gather Round you get what you pay for. We’re super flexible and have transparent memberships – you won’t find any hidden extras here. Not only do you have the working space you need, we know the importance of good coffee, take pride in our banging tea selection and have all the condiments you could need, don’t worry about bringing that hot sauce in your bag. We’ll also see you for a monthly breakfast of The Forest Bakery pastries, morning yoga and after-work drinks, on the house.
