Triple Co Roast
Coffee is king here at Gather Round. Triple Co Roast has supplied our coffee since the day we opened our doors. Their BS1 Espresso blend is a firm favourite with our members and it can feel like a genuine crisis if we run out. Ethical and purpose-led, they’re a brand on a mission to roast high-quality coffee beans via direct trade with bean farmers whilst staying focused on roaster-to-customer relations. Founded by local Bristol boy, Jo Thompson, Triple Co has an open-access speciality roastery in the heart of the City which roasts coffee on Tuesdays and Thursdays and ships the next day. Toyville Bristol
Tucked away in a buzzy part of North Street opposite Swevern coffee, you’ll find the delights of Toyville, Bristol. A family-run indie toys and games shop, it’s a treasure trove of beautiful toys, puzzles and board games for all ages. Set up in 2016 by parents Joel and Lynsey, Toyville is a welcoming space where children (and adults) can come and play without having to worry about breaking things or being told not to touch. Pure joy.

Twig Plants
Plants are known to create a sense of calm and improve wellbeing in the home, both super important at the current time. Twig Plants is a green fingered business run by the lovely Sarah, a plant enthusiast with a background in forest conservation. Sarah designs and makes gorgeous plant pots to compliment her carefully chosen range of plants which can be delivered in and around Bristol as well as country-wide. Outside lockdown, Twig can be found at Tobacco Factory Makers Market, Friday–Sunday.

Bristol Beer Factory’s Taproom is just around the corner from Gather Round and a regular hang out for our Friday night drinks. A utopia for beer lovers, it offers an awesome selection of Bristol brewed beers and super comfy seating for non-lockdown pleasure. If you’re exploring the delights of South Bristol, BBFT is a must. The enthusiastic team has adapted with the times and is offering takeaway draught during lockdown. Just pop in with a growler, milk bottle or wheelie bin and they’ll fill it with delicious beer to take away and enjoy from home.
