What Makes Gather Round the Best Co-Working Space in Bristol
As told to us by our members, overheard by the coffee machine and gathered in feedback sessions. We’re still humble over here! We promise. There are just a few things that make us the best co-working space in Bristol and we’re pretty proud of them. From our banging events calendar and monthly breakfasts to our beautiful interiors and members-first attitude, we’ve rounded up what makes Gather Round a great place to be.
Community
With over 180 creatives calling Gather Round home it’s safe to say we’re packed to the rafters. From graphic designers, writers and directors to photographers and web designers we hold host to the gamut of Bristol’s creatives. It makes for stimulating conversation in the kitchen and we love bringing everyone together over monthly breakfasts and after-work drinks. Our Campfire Talks see members share their latest project or expertise on a specialist subject over a coffee and a pastry on the sofas.
Standout interiors
Creativity breeds creativity, that’s why we’ve put a lot of thought into the materials and environment that surround us. We’ve chosen bold prints on the walls, epic wraparound sofas and inspirational pieces to bring the Gather Round spaces to life. Greenery lifts Brunswick Square and Cigar Factory and lighting visually defines spaces. We worked with artists to create one-off pieces that bring a unique finish to our historic buildings.
Events
Want to know how we are the best coworking space in Bristol? Our events calendar gets better and better. Parties, secret gigs, talks and discussions and screenings make up our What’s On calendar and we’re proud of the interesting folk that pass through our doors. Highlights so far have been the infamous Pirate Studio parties, Sofar Sounds holding court on the Brunswick sofa and Ladies Wine & Design kicking off their 2023 roster with a hugely inspiring event.
Members first, always.
We take feedback seriously – in 2022 our Brunswick Square members asked for privacy for calls in the Flexi area; private booths now sit comfortably next to the desks. We take everything our members say on board and make the changes that make their day even better. We also make sure you’ve got the little things that make your day run smoother; delicious coffee, Pukka Teas and fruit in hand when you need fuel.
Spaces
We’ve spent years in offices that didn’t fit our needs so we made it our mission to build beautiful areas that solve all the problems a creative can face. All our members; Studio, Resi and Flexi, can use our beautifully decorated rooms for larger meetings and our sun-filled Terrace meeting room. There are breakout areas dotted around for heads-down thinking and sound-proof booths for calls. We’ve created Gather Round an easy place to get what you need; done.
Big thanks to all our members for letting us know what we’re doing right, when we need to know. We’re super proud of both our spaces and the regular changes we make to ensure we’re the best coworking space in Bristol.
