Our doors will open once again on Wednesday 23rd October at 12.30 at Gather Round, Brunswick Square for our next free event for the local creative community. This is one of our more intimate events, limited numbers, in a new meeting space we’ve been keeping under wraps and a more interactive format.

A gathering of creative minds & free lunch

Following the positive feedback we’ve had after Building Creative Resilience, PR 101 and Breaking Through Boundaries our next Gather Round Presents event is set to be another one for the books.

Expect an inspiring talk from Jack Horner on how he’s moved from designing experiences to bring people together with award winning agency FRUKT, to cultivating spaces for creative and purpose led communities to thrive. 

Plus a tasty free lunch and refreshments!

You’ll have a chance to meet and connect with other like-minded people in the creative industries and to share your own stories on how community can be used as a force for good.

A round of applause for Jack Horner

Jack is the driving force behind DOT DOT DOT – a community of founders and leaders from the creative industries who come together to give their time, experience and creativity to support the change makers who run charities and non-profits.

He also set up and runs IceBreakers – a group that supports men using the power of nature, rituals and community with chapters in Bath, Bristol, Brighton and London. They gather in rivers, on beaches and around fires to share stories and offer support to each other.

Plus he’s the Co-founder of nearfield (which Gather Round stock!) a free local magazine and website with a mission to inspire people to get out more, experience more in the Southwest, to support local venues, bars and other spaces and to bring people together around the things they love.

Free lunch and refreshments provided for all and the chance to meet and connect with other like minded creatives.
